What is Botox, and what does it do?

Botox injection contains Botulinum toxin type A, which is a toxin produced by the bacteria Clostridium botulinum. The toxin stops nerves from functioning normally by preventing them from releasing a chemical called acetylcholine, which is essential for the nerves to communicate with muscle cells. Preventing nerve stimulation of muscles causes the muscles to become paralysed, thereby temporarily halting the formation of wrinkles. Botulinum toxin type A causes muscle paralysis until such time as the nerves develop new endings to communicate with the muscles again.

What does BotoSoie Skin Cream contain?

BotoSoie Skin Cream is a preparation containing three peptides and GABA (Gamma- Aminobutyric Acid). The peptides in BotoSoie are: Matrixyl 3000®, which contains Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1; Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7; and Argireline, which contains Acetyl Hexapeptide-8.

How does BotoSoie Skin Cream work?

Collagen is a protein that functions as a cushion for the skin, giving it a smooth and tight look. When we age, collagen is gradually destroyed but not replenished at the same speed. So, the more time passes, the more we lose collagen. When collagen breaks down, it forms specific peptides. These peptides act as a signal to tell your skin it was damaged and to make new collagen. Skin responds by making new collagen, but not enough to replace what is lost. As a result, young, smooth skin becomes thin and wrinkled over time. To reduce wrinkles and make you look younger, you need to replace lost collagen, which is what BotoSoie Skin Cream does.

Studies on Argireline (acetyl hexapeptide-3), an ingredient of BotoSoie Skin Cream, show that it can produce a mild, Botox-like effect, inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters that keep facial muscles from forming wrinkles
